If you have questions, we have answers.

No one wants to talk about wastewater. But you should ask questions. We know you have some. In the meantime, here are a few of the most commonly asked questions regarding our decentralized wastewater treatment systems.

Is it a must I have a design?

Yes, in Alberta in order to get a permit to install a septic system it is a requirement to submit a comprehensive design to the permitting agency for them to review and approve PRIOR to approval to proceed with the installation.

Can I do my own design?

Yes, currently in Alberta homeowners can complete and submit there own design for their own personal residence, but not for rental, commercial or investment properties.
HOWEVER there is a very strict system in place that requires a great deal of education and skill in order to fill the forms out correctly, all of which a permitting agency will quickly turn down if not correctly completed.
Give us a call, we can figure out a solution that fits your needs.

    How much do designs cost?

It can vary from designer to designer but the average cost of a typical acreage septic design is $2000.00 Multiple house/living quarter properties, specialized or commercial projects go up in price from there.
